A stone linen jumpsuit with a racing back cut, wide palazzo legs, and a scoop neckline that opens into a clean open back with concealed zip. Calf-length, roomy through the leg, and substantial enough that the fabric falls with weight rather than floating. This linen jumpsuit racing back silhouette is made to order in Bulgaria — custom sizing costs nothing extra, and worldwide shipping is free.
The piece
There is a particular freedom in a jumpsuit that bares the back — a quiet boldness, like a sentence you finally dared to speak. Linen warms against your skin, and you feel both held and unbound, moving through the day as one whole, unhesitating thing. I kept coming back to that feeling when I designed this one. The racing back isn't a decorative detail; it's the whole argument. Everything else, the front panel that keeps the silhouette composed, the wide legs, the hidden side pockets, exists to support that single open plane of back. Dressed up or stripped down, the piece holds its shape because the linen has enough body to do so. It doesn't need you to carry it.
Material
The fabric is 100% linen in a warm stone tone — neither bright white nor yellow, closer to undyed canvas. It has the slightly rough hand of natural linen when new, softening with each wash without losing its structure. At 500 g finished garment weight, the fabric falls with noticeable weight through the palazzo legs. There is a front panel detail at the bodice that gives slight shaping without lining.
Fit & sizing
Larah is 175 cm and wears size S in the photos. Between sizes? Send your measurements in the order notes — we'll cut to fit at no extra cost. The leg cut is wide palazzo from the hip down, so sizing up for room through the hip is unnecessary; cut to your actual hip and waist. The racing back is open to the waist, so no bra is worn with this piece.
Styling
Pair it with the knitted kimono maxi dress (worn open as a layer) on cooler evenings when the back isn't the point.Flat leather sandals and minimal jewellery make a complete look for a warm-weather wedding. For studio days or long-haul flights, the pockets and the single-piece construction mean nothing shifts, nothing bunches. Keep jewellery minimal — a single chain at the neck or nothing at all. For travel days, the olive linen harem trousers work as a separates alternative when a jumpsuit feels like too much commitment. The linen palazzo jumpsuit is the closer, less open-back cousin if you want similar lines with full coverage.
Care
Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Hang to dry rather than tumble, as linen holds its shape better air-dried and is prone to over-shrinking with repeated heat. The concealed back zip should be closed before washing to prevent snagging. Iron on medium heat while slightly damp for a smooth finish, or leave it with a light crease — both read intentional in this fabric.
Frequently asked questions
How does made-to-order work?
Each piece is cut and sewn after you place your order. Standard production time is 5–7 business days before dispatch. If you leave your measurements in the order notes, we'll cut to your exact dimensions at no extra charge — no alteration fee, no upsell.
What if I'm between sizes?
Send your bust, waist, and hip measurements in the order notes at checkout. Because we're making the piece from scratch, cutting to your measurements is no different for us than cutting to a standard size. Fitting to the body is the point.
Is worldwide shipping really free?
Yes — free tracked shipping on all orders, everywhere. Delivery times vary by destination: most European orders arrive within 5–10 business days of dispatch, international orders within 10–20 business days.
Will the linen shrink after washing?
We pre-wash our fabric before cutting, so significant shrinkage after purchase is unlikely. Washing at 30°C and hanging to dry rather than tumble-drying keeps the garment stable. Repeated high-heat tumble drying is the main cause of shrinkage in linen.
Can I return or exchange a made-to-order piece?
Because each piece is made specifically for you — and especially if cut to your custom measurements — we aren't able to accept returns on made-to-order items unless there is a production fault. If something is wrong with how it was made, get in touch and we'll fix it.
